Meet Our Staff
Dr. Jason Otterbein
Dr. Jason Otterbein was born and raised in Whitehorse Yukon. He graduated from F H Collins High School. In 2005, Jason graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with his Doctor of Dental Medicine. He worked for 4 years in Inuvik before returning to Whitehorse in 2015 to practice at Whitehorse Dental with Dr. Nash and Dr. Jacob. In 2019, the three dentists purchased Pine Dental Clinic and continued to work together to provide the people of Whitehorse with up to date and experienced dentistry.
Dr. Danny Rai, DDS
Dr. Danny Rai moved to Whitehorse from Fargo, North Dakota, in the Spring of 2018. Dr. Rai graduated from the University of Damascus and the University of Minnesota. He has extensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, pedodontics, crown and bridge and implantology.
Dr. Rai and his wife like the idea of living in the North and look forward to settling down and enjoying what Whitehorse has to offer.
Dr. Amanda Sinclair, DDS
Dr. Amanda Sinclair originally moved to Yukon in 2005 and joined Pine Dental Clinic in early 2018. Dr. Sinclair comes to us with a lot of experience. She previously owned Riverstone Dental for eight years. She does extensive work with the Yukon Children's Dental Program.
In the fall of 2018, Dr. Sinclair expanded her current services and began offering orthodontic treatment to Yukoners.
When not at work, Dr. Sinclair can be found with her four beautiful children.
Tammy Kingston, RDH
Tammy moved to Whitehorse in March of 2016 from Terrace, British Columbia. She has been visiting the Yukon regularly for more than ten years. Tammy graduated from the College of New Caledonia in 2004. In 2012, she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Sciences.
Tammy loves the outdoors and will spend her free time this summer, building her new home near Whitehorse.
Sarah Hayden, RDH
Sarah moved to Whitehorse in December of 2019 from Rocky Harbor (Gros Morne) Newfoundland. She previously visited the Yukon in 2015 and fell in love with the Natural Beauty of the Territory. Sarah graduated from Dalhousie University in 2013. She worked in her home province for 5 years before venturing to Whitehorse, driving in Dec from one corner of Canada to another. Sarah is excited to hit the mountain bike trails in the spring and is ready to hike the many trails of the Yukon.
Jasmine Potvin, Office Manager
Jasmine moved to the Yukon when she was 5 years old. She Lived in Watson Lake for 7.5 years before moving with her family to Whitehorse. Jasmine attended Whitehorse Elementary and F H Collins. She is fluent in French and English. Jasmine has been working at Pine Dental Clinic since 2018.
